We Have a New Partner This Year!

We are excited to announce that Eric Strobel is now part owner of the Strobel Insurance Agency. After working as an agent for the last 10 years and building his book of business, Eric earned the right to buy an ownership interest in the agency.

Along with putting a buy/sell agreement in place, and although Dave plans to be around for a long time, we feel this cements our local family-run agency’s perpetuation plan and guarantees our customers and employees a seamless transition in future years. Please Congratulate Eric and the team at Strobel Insurance on this major news.

I was with my previous insurance carrier (Home & Auto) for over 29 years, and it was difficult to change insurers. However, after DaLonna took the time to do a line by line, coverage by coverage, comparison between my old insurance and what is now my new insurance, I was impressed and sold on how much more coverage I was able to have and how much less my home deductible could be for the same easy monthly payments. Finally, the signing of my documents and the account setup was quick and easy. I have the peace of mind that I am well insured.

After spending 45 minutes on the phone, with an agent, I was told I would hear back in two days. Called back after 4 days and they said it would take 2 weeks. Mind you this is for an estimate on car insurance! This is what they supposedly do. Well anyway, two weeks passed and nothing, nada, zero, zilch. Disrespectful. Unprofessional. Unfortunate. Would not recommend. Must not need business.

I believe there were some unique circumstances with your quote request that made our agency a poor fit for your needs. Our records do however indicate that we left two voicemails and did not hear back which is when we closed the file. If you wish to discus this further, please give us a call.

Had strobel as my agent for over 3 years. Customer Service was terrible. Took 200 days to decide if my vehicle was going to be fixed or totaled out. My coverage got dropped and they couldn't even reach out to let me know.

Response from the owner: Hi Chenise, I'm sorry to hear that you feel our service was sub par. Looking back at your claim records it appears that the claim in question was settled and closed properly to everyone's agreement. Unfortunately when a claim is filed it is done through the carrier, not the agency, and an adjuster communicates directly with you. If a claim is not going smoothly that is where we encourage customers to reach out to our agency so we can help navigate the issues. As an agency we place insurance with reputable carriers with a history of proven claims service but we don't actual handle adjusting the individual claims. As for the coverage being dropped, that is a carrier decision generally based on loss history. A notice goes out well in advance of cancellation. In this case unfortunately we didn't have options to rewrite this policy.
